We had our federally required asbestos inspection in December, 2008. Although some minor asbestos containing sites were found, none were deemed necessary to be removed or treated. We have a management plan in place to deal with the areas that contain asbestos. The church will be responsible for training its custodial staff with procedures for working around asbestos as well as procedures for periodic surveillance of these areas. A copy of the Asbestos Management Plan is available in the school office for review during regular school hours. A copy has also been provided to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
